Retro Surfer Doll House 2008

Set in the late 60’s early 70’s this retro surf pad has everything a true surfer needs! The surf boards were hand carved out of wood. The grill was handmade from a bubble gum machine container. The bowl of potato chip are dried bell pepper seeds.

The ultimate crash pad. Lava lamp, guitar albums and surfer magazines. I still have to put more things on the wall and add a door knob and other details. I created all the art used for the wall paper throughout the house on the computer and printed it out.

A groovy place for a card game! The chairs were hand painted. The stove was made from scratch to resemble an old 50’s stove (It still needs to be aged). I still have to do a lot of work through out the house to make it look a bit more run down and neglected.

The surf board hanging over the steps is a shark trophy board. Don’t worry, the surfer made it in without a scratch. The attic door folds down so another resident can crash in his attic room.

I still have a lot to do in here to give it a messier feel. Also to do some touch up work. The pink toilet was sent to me as a wrong order but as it turned out, it added a great feel to the room!
